I got lost in making. In order of the making, which is last photo to first photo: A dorodango. An earth-pigment watercolor using one of my immunoglobulin syringes to apply the color in a riverlike shape. Gathering Moenkopi from my yard to turn into pigment. Making wild Moenkopi clay. Warping my new tiny loom from Handywoman Looms. Making Moenkopi pigment. Weaving with twine and recycled sari silk on limestone. Painting a watercolor study that is somehow in conversation with the silk stone weaving.
Images: Photos of all of the above, in the opposite order of my list.
