Breakthroughs Reading, The Nomad

Contributors to the Breakthroughs issue of The Nomad will read their work. The Nomad was co-founded by Ken Waldman and Rachel White. Its title is a nod to the avant-garde Beat Generation magazine, Nomad, published from 1959 to 1962. Registration is required. Free tickets are available through Eventbrite.

The McBride Center Writers

The McBride Center Writers workshop at Oklahoma Christian University is led by Scott LaMascus and Aaron Pogue. This generative workshop includes a craft discussion and time to generate and share new work. The group meets twice a month and alternates between poetry and prose. I’ll be presenting on an aspect of my poetry and helping to lead a generative workshop using a prompt related to my work.
